The developing programme in the conditions of a tent camp consists of the active rest organization, children's health improvements, developing and educational components.

In the camp there proper conditions for a child to satisfy his/her needs, interests and purposes through communication, sports, creative, labour, cognitive and aesthetic activity.

Distinctive camp feature (from other educational and developing programmes) is that there are opportunities for a child to experiment and to reveal himself/herself in the real-life situations.

Acting together during a long period of time in the camp, children develop their communicative and problem solving skills. Gaining new social experience (how to prepare fire wood, how to install tent, how to prepare dinner and so on) and getting over the difficulties of the camping life promote children's self-esteem, develop their initiative and social activity.

The summer camp "Robinzonada-2003" was being organized by the trainers of the NGO "Focus-group" from August 1 till August 12, 2003 for an international group of the participants - Byelorussian, Georgian and Afghani children at the area of the "Blue lakes" (Golubie Ozery) landscape reserve.

The programme was realized in partnership with the Centre of children and youth creativity "Eureca" with support from UN HCR.
