The work of "Focus Group" is directly related to the development of the club movement.
Our organization was founded to operate according to club system. Furthermore, "Focus Group" initiated the creation
of Volunteer Student Club and the .
youth club "Perspective"
Club system implies holding regular meetings to combine educational activities and informal communication among the members of the club.
The coordinator of the club work performs the role of facilitator to arrange the process of communication and opinion exchange within
the limits of the topic given to assist the group to develop the understanding of the issues in general terms.
The role of facilitator is less formal than that of trainer; it suggests that facilitator should share the same status as other participants of the event. Concerning standard encounters, the position of facilitator can be rotated.
Each member of the club can try to function as a facilitator of some educational program; and the advice of curator is possible to be given.
Such a mechanism of communication and mutual academic enriching creates the environment for each member of the group to actively participate to show their own worth.
It should be stressed that the character of the club does not conclude with long-term education programs, but the club is distinguished by its name, history, traditions and conduct mode, as well as by rather constant group of participants.
Club system makes for transforming passive position of consumer of educational services into active one to make a person able to have constructive influence on the group-mates. While the meeting session is open, each of the group
enjoy the chance to prove his or her thesis, join in to develop generalized/distinctive view of the participants as to the topic given.
Club work can be also directed outside to embrace other target groups. Then, such a scheme should be considered as a manner to prepare and implement various socially related actions, in particular, if applied to long-term programs.
